SofTee Automation and Belrobotics Introduces Robotic Ball Picker

New Orleans, LA, February 8, 2009     Belrobotics, maker of BigMow, robotic lawn mower, introduced the first robotic BallPicker to the American market at the Golf Industry Show in New Orleans to strong reviews.

The BallPicker holds 200 - 400 golf balls before it finds the drop zone where it discharges the balls, then goes out and continues collecting.  The BallPicker automatically picks the driving range day and night.  It runs for 2 hours then finds the charging station on its own and charges for about 1 hour.

One unit can cover 5-6 acres and collect up to 10,000 balls a day.  Each unit come equipped with a charging station, a ball hopper and elevator to collect the balls from the drop zone.

The BallPicker eliminates the labor of picking the balls off the driving range and uses no gasoline or oil to do so.  It may be used in conjunction with the BigMow so the range an be mowed and picked without the use of any labor hours.

SofTee Automation is the exclusive distributor of the BallPicker, BigMow and ParcMow for the United States.  For additional information visit www.softeeautomation.com or call 910.253.4503.
