This Old House wrote an article on Robotic Lawn Mowers, in the March, 2007 issue. As you’ll read, in the article they compare the BIGMOW, RoboMower and the Lawnbott. The BIGMOW is no competition to the others mentioned; simply because of the area that BIGMOW covers. BIGMOW is not for the retired couple that has their dream house in North Carolina with a third of an acre. It is designed for large estates, commercial property, golf course, driving ranges, parks and other properties of size.

The article explains, “… at $13,000, its price is just a grand cheaper than hiring a service to handle the same size lawn for one growth season in some cities.” This is true, depending on the city, and the beauty of it is, for each year to come you won’t have the lawn care expense.”
